What do former trainees of the ICJ-Sweden?

Beda Andersson, part-time internship during the summer of 2010, writes:
My internship at the ICJ has been rewarding. During my time here I  helped  with the office’s daily administrative work and project descriptions and applications for the organization’s future projects, which will be exciting to see how it develops. Summer at the ICJ has given me good and new skills that will benefit me in the future.

Andrea Hemming, part-time internship during the spring and summer of 2014 writes:
My internship at the ICJ Sweden has been highly rewarding and the fact that  I was given considerable leeway to come up with  own ideas and take these forward, was very exciting. During my time here I, among other thing, took care of the office’s daily administrative work, wrote newsletters, did budget forecasts, research for the board and wrote project descriptions. In addition, I was involved both to plan and organize a full-day course on immigration law with the Migraiton Group, which was a large and very interesting project. I also assisted at the ICJ-S’s other events, participated in the successful Project Street Law Academy and represented the ICJ-S at different events. During the time at ICJ-S I learned a lot about how a nonprofit organization works and the experience will undoubtedly be of great benefit for me in the future.

Julia Ride Mark, full-time internship during the summer of 2010, writes:

During my time as an intern at the ICJ-Sweden I worked a lot with writing project descriptions, develop project ideas and apply for grants for various projects. In addition, I also helped with the daily work in the office, called the phone calls and answered emails. It was surprisingly easy to put into the business, and I learned a lot about how a nonprofit organization works. The experience I will take with me from my internship at ICJ-Sweden will be of great use when I apply for a job in the future!
